Case Study of a Remodeling Project in Redding CT

We’ve been hard at work revitalizing a lovely home in Redding, CT. Taking old and tight corridors in an older home, and opening them up. We took down walls, replaced cabinetry, flooring, and trim in just about every room of the house.

One of the many hallmarks is the newly built book case with rolling ladder in a vaulted family room. The ceiling started out at 7’6″, now brought to 9 feet, creating a whole new feel to the family room.

The kitchen went down to bare studs, to dig out and repair old wood, flooring and vintage electrical lines. When we find rot, we know exactly how to repair it completely. When the walls go back up, they go back up for an additional lifetime of durability.

The bathroom overhauls featured New Schluter shower systems, as well as new vanities and trim. Extra counter space, more storage and water tight walls to ensure this bathroom will last for decades. We also brought in new closet systems to solve storage challenges and improve their overall styling.

Stay tuned for more imagery on this project and others to come.
